Sent-off from Marina Mazatlan.

Today, December 31 st 2011, we let go of our warps and left the slip in Marina Mazzatlan, which we had occupied all the time. It was quite exciting and also emotional. All our fellow cruisers were seeing us off in style.

Rick and his crew were making sure of no last minute problems.
Sergio is holding the warps and Julio to the right. Our cruiser friends are looking on.

Rick with Mexican wife, Margo.
Margo presented me with a beautiful crystal necklace with a cruisifix and a picture of the holy virgin to bring us happy sailing. I was very moved by her kind thought.

He, Rick is very happy and pleased to have completed all the jobs on Aros Mear and ready to turn to projects on other boats. Rick has looked after the boat for many years and knows every corner of her. He has always been there for us with help and advise. Can we manage without him?

Life is good on the ocean wave!

Mazatlan Light house is the second highest in the world.

Balmy sea and sky.
