We both love the new boat! It takes time to really get acquainted with it all, and we have arrived in manana country!
This week The annual carnaval starts. It is a great event in the local calender. The Carneval here is the third largest in the world!
I really look forward to be here to experience it. Yesterday we took the bus to town and looked around. The old town is very pretty, and colourfully painted houses are everywhere. I had my first Pinacolada in the shade of big palmtrees and bougainvillea flowers. There is a buzz everywhere and everybody is happy and helpful. However, it is a real pity that we haven't got any Spannish as we have problems communicating. Most of the other 'Gringos' feel the same.
